Program Description:

Study Abroad in Barcelona

Get a fresh perspective on traditional disciplines in this interdisciplinary program. You’ll approach subjects such as Art History and Marketing from multi-faceted lens that provides a deeper and more connected approach to the course content. Offered through our partner, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), you’ll take courses alongside local and other international students where you’ll actively participate in learning through hands-on activities, seminars and projects. Spanish language coursework is also available at all fluency levels. As a hybrid program with the CEA CAPA Barcelona Center you’ll be able to take electives that support your coursework at UPF, and stay on track for graduation.

Where You'll Study

Students take classes at the CEA CAPA Barcelona Center and Pompeu Fabra University. The CEA CAPA Barcelona Center, located on the Plaza Catalunya in the heart of the city, offers courses in a range of subjects, taught in English and Spanish. Learning takes place both in and out of the classroom, with instructors taking full advantage of Barcelona’s many notable sites and attractions. Pompeu Fabra University’s six central Barcelona campuses offer a range of courses also taught in English and Spanish; as well as the opportunity to take courses with Spaniards for a truly integrated experience. Students receive a transcript from Pompeu Fabra University, and CEA CAPA’s School of Record upon completion of their program.
