Program Description:
Summer Study & Service or Intern in Thailand

Explore Bangkok and Chiang Mai like a local while earning credits - Discover why Thailand is known as the “Land of Smiles”!

Experience all that Thailand has to offer! Study abroad, gain hands-on experience on a structured internship, and explore the culture of Thailand. Study for four weeks at Mahidol University, earn up to six credits, live in a studio apartment in Bangkok, and enjoy cultural activities with fellow students.

After a month of study, choose to extend your stay and venture to Chiang Mai for an intensive internship. You can choose to focus on NGO Development, LGBTQ+ Rights, or Healthcare, depending on your interests! If you’d prefer to volunteer, we also have two incredible Community Development service-learning placements available. No matter which track you choose, you’ll deepen your understanding of Thai culture and enrich your studies.

Study
Take up to 2 classes at Bangkok’s Mahidol University, earning up to 6 credits. (4 weeks.) Classes include: “Intro to Thai Language and Culture”, “Management, Small Business and Entrepreneurship” and “Thai History.”

Intern or Service-Learning
Extend your stay and set out for Chiang Mai, the Rose of the North! (2-8 week options available.) Intern in “NGO Business Development”, “LGBTQ+ Advocacy” or “Healthcare,” or volunteer in “Early Childhood Education” or “Community Development and Conservation.”

Study-Only Costs: $3900 (4 wk, up to 6 credits)
Study & Intern Costs: $6999 (4 wk study, 4 wk internship) - additional weeks extra
