Program Overview

Your Summer Comparative Public Health Systems I + II program in London and Amsterdam lasts 8 weeks. You will enroll in one required CIEE course per session.  Enhance your experience with extracurricular activities while immersing yourself in Dutch culture. Live and learn in Amsterdam! Explore the culture and iconic sights of London!

Activities

CIEE’s excursions and cultural activities in London and Amsterdam will open doors for you to explore England and the Netherlands' rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Samples of past excursions and activities: 

  • Sail along the Thames to Greenwich and take the chance to stand either side of the date line 
  • Relax during an open-air movie screening at a popular Amsterdam city beach 
  • Go to a concert, play, flea market, or a special exhibition in one of Amsterdam’s museums

CIEE London: Study in the Bloomsbury district, one of London’s most vibrant neighborhoods set in the academic and literary heart of the city. CIEE London features classrooms, a student lounge, a library, a study space, a student life office, an academic advising office, a café, and a garden terrace.

GAIN Travel Grants - Up to $1,500 toward travel costs guaranteed to students with a FAFSA SAI of $10,000 or less. Higher should still apply!

Gilman Go Global Grants - Up to $2,500/semester, $1,500/quarter, and $1,000 guaranteed to Benjamin A Gilman International Scholarship applicants.

Merit-Based Scholarships - Up to $2,500/semester, $1,500/quarter, and $750/summer awarded to students deomonstrating high academic achievement.
