Program Overview

Your Open Campus Block in Shanghai puts you in a global metropolis defined by rapid growth, innovation, and a striking blend of historic and ultra-modern environments, with the ability to tailor your experience to your academic interests and personal goals. You'll enroll in CIEE courses and online courses taught through CIEE's global academic partner, ASU. Adding to the experience, co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities might include exploring the historic Bund and its skyline views, wandering through Yuyuan Garden and its surrounding markets, and cruising along the Huangpu River to see the city skyline from a different perspective. Shanghai's energy comes from its constant movement, global connections, and the way past and future coexist throughout the city.
