IFSA - UNIVERSITY OF GALWAY SUMMER: IRISH STUDIES
Geotag  Galway, Ireland

WHY STUDY IN CITY?
Known as the cultural heart of Ireland, Galway is a youthful and lively city that celebrates and preserves the Irish language and culture. With cobbled streets and colorful storefronts, Galway boasts a thriving café culture, countless opportunities to experience traditional pub music, and it is widely known for its festivals and civic events.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The small coastal city of Galway—often called the cultural heart of the country—is an ideal place to immerse yourself in Irish theater, language, literature, and sport. Take two classes on the university’s beautiful campus, hugged by the Corrib River and close to the city center. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to connect with locals and explore the west coast’s towering cliffs, rugged islands, and historic castles.

Visit IFSA - University of Galway Summer: Irish Studies on the IFSA website for complete academic details including a list of classes and syllabi.
