Program Overview
 

This prestigious program at University of Cambridge's Girton College takes place over four-week sessions in the summer and is perfect for students of economics, engineering, or business. 

A highly focused, popular, and affordable program, which requires only a 3.0 GPA, you'll enjoy on-campus housing at Girton College, along with the academic rigor of your studies, and contact with students from around the world.

The program includes weekly evening lectures on Cambridge research or general interest topics and you’ll choose one course in either economics, engineering, or business:

Session 1- Economics: Course on macroeconomics, microeconomics & economic & political thought, through studies of Nobel Prize Winners in economics, development of world capitalist structures and philosophical analysis of democratic capitalism.

Session 2- Engineering: Course on four exciting areas of engineering, in which Cambridge has a strong reputation: nanotechnology, quantum technologies, renewable electrical power & the jet engine.

Session 3 - Business: Course on four cutting-edge topics in business: finance, leadership, strategy, and responsible investing, a perfect opportunity for the ambitious student looking to connect with like-minded peers.

Historic Cambridge will be all around you — the opportunity to attend weekly Formal Halls, formal dinners in medieval halls by candlelight. Regular meals are in the college cafeteria and events and activities are organized as part of the program. Other events are organized by full-time Cambridge students, such as punting on the River Cam.
