All UHCL students (undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral) approved and committed to an education abroad program must attend a mandatory pre-departure orientation during the semester prior to the education abroad program.

Preparation is essential for ensuring a healthy and safe experience abroad. The pre-departure orientation helps you understand potential challenges you may encounter and provides an opportunity to connect with other students preparing to go abroad.
